The Hospital Suite
 Our newly extended Hospital Suite comprises a purpose built operating theatre fitted out with air conditioning, positive pressure ventilation, piped anaesthetic gas and gas scavenging systems all done to increase the safety of our work with your pets.
Together with this new theatre we have a dedicated dental suite for all routine dental work and a protected Radiology room built and equipped to today’s exacting safety standards. This imaging suite also houses our new video-endoscope system and ultrasound imaging equipment - please see our section on imaging.
 We now have digital X-ray film processing - the most up to date system available; the films are processed onto a VDU and the film quality and definition is excellent, allowing us much better interpretations of the X-ray films we take. The system also allows us to place copies of the films in your client record card on our main computer system so we can discuss films with you at any following consultation without the need to go searching archives for the actual films.
 Two hospital wards, one for dogs and one for cats and smaller pets together with a facility to house even the giant breeds of dog complement the theatres, and the suite also has facilities for preparation, cleaning and sterilisation of instruments and other equipment. In addition to this facility we have a further small facility on the first floor which is used as an isolation unit for any infectious cases.
All our kennels are Shoreline stainless steel units which are easy to clean and disinfect fully. Synthetic bedding is used to provide comfort.
