Our qualified nurses run one-on-one free clinics in subjects such as ageing problems, obesity, preventative dentistry, diabetes, epilepsy and puppy and kitten development. Our obesity clinics are particularly successful utilising special weight reducing diets in a controlled way to improve the health of your pet. Please ask at reception if you would like an appointment to discuss any of the above problems, or, indeed any other health problem you think our nurses could help with.
Home visits
We would ask you please, if at all possible to bring your pet to the surgery - it helps enormously if all our facilities are at hand particularly in an emergency e.g. road traffic accidents.
However we do understand that sometimes a house call is essential or desirable as far as you the client is concerned. If this is the case we will be happy to make a home visit (please try and telephone before 10.00 if you need such a visit) - a charge is made for the call out.
Fees and payment
We always strive to keep our fees competitive and fair and our reception staff are pleased to provide computerised quotations on request. We strongly advise that you ask for a quotation particularly for surgical and long term hospital cases. In the long term cases our staff are requested to keep you up to date with the fees incurred, we hope this does not cause any distress, we do it because we have been asked to many times, and, hopefully, because it makes it easier for you.
The reception staff are always happy to advise you of our fees for any particular tasks and please remember that follow up consultations are priced on a reducing scale. All our fees carry a VAT element of 17.5%
We run a discount scheme for payment at the time of treatment (currently attracting a discount of 5%) and accept most major credit and debit cards together with cheques and, of course, cash.
