I am one of the partners at Stanhope Park and have been working here since 1971. I have seen many changes in the practice since coming back to Darlington and hope that all the changes have led to improved levels of care for our patients - your pets. I’m proud to be part of a dedicated team, thoroughly enjoy my work and count myself very lucky to be still involved in veterinary care.

I qualified as a vet from Edinburgh University in June 1994, and worked in mixed practice for three and a half years before joining this practice in November 1997. In July 1999 I became a partner in the practice. I am currently studying towards my certificate in Small Animal Surgery. My main interest is orthopaedics and complex soft tissue surgery. I am also interested in improving the treatment and welfare of the smaller pets, especially rabbits, and have produced a practice information leaflet on this topic to help owners care more effectively for their pets. In my spare time I spend time working on my house and garden and exercising my two labradors.
