Surgery profile

This is a small branch where animals can be seen for routine consultations, and where you can purchase preventative treatments and collect medications and food. Any animals requiring hospitalisation or surgery can be transported by the veterinary surgeon to Darlington at 10am and returned to Middleton-St-George for collection at 4.30pm. This is a free service. If you prefer, you can transport your pet yourself.

Stock or medication required is brought over from Darlington daily and arrives at 16.30. Please give us some warning for repeat medications.

There is no veterinary surgeon on the premises between 10.00 and 16.30, so emergencies should be taken to Darlington or Yarm between these times. Whilst we endeavour to keep the surgery open during the day, we occasionally have to close it due to staff illness.
