Physiotherapy is rapidly becoming an essential part of rehabilitation for our injured patients and those recovering from surgery
We would like to introduce Rebecca Heald, an experienced Chartered Physiotherapist, who is now working alongside the practice to provide a physiotherapy service for our patients.
Veterinary physiotherapy is increasingly being utilised as an adjunct to medical and surgical management of a range of physical conditions to promote healing and return of full function following injury or orthopaedic surgery, and can aid management of pre-existing conditions such as osteo-arthritis, and many pet insurance policies will now cover physiotherapy as part of a treatment regime.
Rebecca can provide expert assessment, treatment and a home programme designed specifically for each individual patient. She can also teach owners hands-on techniques, and give advice to make a real difference in your pet’s rehabilitation, and long-term condition management.
All animals require veterinary consent prior to their first appointment with Rebecca, ensuring continuity of care and specific rehabilitation requirements are met.
Rebecca is a member of ACPAT (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Animal Therapy), and can be contacted on 07734 958335, or by email on firstname.lastname@example.org. For further information, please visit her website at www.healdphysio.co.uk
